Danish Codan leads global wind farm insurance – competitors queuing

Several new players have entered the wind farm insurance market in recent years, and Danish-domiciled market pioneer and leader Codan is starting to feel the pressure.

Danish-based insurance group Codan, along with its British parent company RSA Group, are market leaders in insuring wind farms, however, the these have recently started to feel the pressure from heightened market competition, tells Brenden Reed, Codan Nordic director of construction and engineering and RSA global portfolio manger for wind energy.
