Vestas wins 202 MW order in Canada

Vestas' popular 4 MW turbine will set the stage for Alberta's expansion of renewable energy.

Vestas has won an order to supply turbines at a total capacity of 202 MW to the Whitla Wind project in the Canadian province Alberta. The client, Capital Power, has ordered V136-3.45 MW units for the development. The turbines have been optimized for a capacity rating of 3.6 MW.
