Norway planning 1.5 GW wind farm

Project developer Norsk Vind Energi will apply for an onshore wind project with a size that exceeds Fosén by one GW.

These days Sweden and Norway are in key focus for onshore wind. The previous November, GE and Green Investment Group decided to install the 650 MW Markbygden ETT project west of Luleå, while Statkraft, Trønder Energi and Credit Suisse finally adopted the 1,001 MW Fosén project. Currently, both projects are are about to be overtaken on capacity.
