Vestas sells anti-icing system turbines to Greece

The wind turbine manufacturer announces orders for almost 60 percent of the capacity awarded at this summer's Greek tender.

Vestas does about as well selling wind turbines to Greece as an ice cream vendor would fare in the Sahara. Since the first turbine was set up in 1986, the Danish company has installed more than 50 percent of the country's total wind capacity corresponding to around 1.4 GW.
