Vestas sets classic New Year's resolution
In reference to its record-high order intake, the wind turbine manufacturer upgrades its guidance for this year's earnings by almost fourfold previous expectations – although only to the level from two months back.
New Year's resolutions are often about doing things better in the future, but for Vestas, that sort of thing can also be done almost retroactively. Even though we are all now writing 2019, it is apparently not too late to upgrade expectations for one's own performance last year, which is precisely what the wind turbine maker did rather emphatically Wednesday afternoon.
