Vattenfall gives contract to Nordex

The German wind turbine manufacturer is building further upon a Swedish partnership in the Netherlands.

Nordex has received a 49 MW order from the Netherlands. The manufacturer will supply two Dutch wind farms, Heringvliet and Moerdijk, with 13 wind turbines consisting of six N117/3675 machines and seven units of larger N131/3900 model. Aside from delivery and installation, planned for completion in the summer of 2020, the producer has received a two-year service deal with an option for extension for the wind turbines' remaining 23-year lifecycle, informs Nordex.
