India's wind tender again results in higher prices

India's sixth onshore wind tender round resulted in prices more than 15 percent under the low point from one year ago.

The current price of onshore wind power in India is INR 2.82 (EUR 0.035) per kWh. In any case, that is the winning bid subscribing 750 MW of the total 1,200 MW in the sixth tender round held by state agency SECI. The remaining 450 MW were priced at INR 2.83 per kWh, reports The Economic Times.
