Vestas bags order from Australia

The Danish manufacturer will supply 51 of its largest wind turbines to Western Australia's biggest wind farm. Project execution, however, remains further on the horizon.

Australian utility Alinta Energy has nominated Vestas to supply equipment to the 214 MW wind project Yandin. The project, worth approximately AUD 400 million (EUR 252.75 million), will consist of 51 model 4.2 MW wind turbines and when commissioned is slated to become the largest wind farm in the state of Western Australia, Alinta Energy informs in a press release.
