CIP and Siemens join forces in billion-dollar project

Infrastructure is a relatively broad category, and even so, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) now seems closer than ever to truly living up to its middle name. In partnership with Siemens Financial Services and US entrepreneur Jingoli, the Danish investment fund will take over the 562 kilometer-long transmission cable project, Soo Green Renewable Rail in the US's Midwest, reports project developer Direct Connect Development Co (DC DevCO).
