Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and Vestas are advancing their cooperation in the US, where the former has decided to invest USD 80 million in expanding the 162.2 MW Bearkat II wind farm in Texas. The facility will consist of 47 wind turbines of the model V126-3.34 MW and is planned to enter operation as early as December this year – well in time to qualify for full PTC tax credit support, CIP announces in a statement.
