Ørsted plans to win Dutch offshore wind tender with hydrogen

The Danish energy company has decided to bid on tendered Dutch offshore projects Hollandse Kust Zuid 3 & 4, and its plan includes utilizing some of their output for hydrogen production.

Swedish utility Vattenfall announced itself as a contender some time back, echoed by consortium Witwind yesterday, and now these two will have to compete with Danish offshore wind major Ørsted, which has long abstained from involving itself with the 750 MW Dutch offshore wind farms, Hollandse Kust Zuid 3 & 4.
