Vestas tasked with forecasting Australian weather
The Danish wind turbine manufacturer is tasked with developing a weather forecasting system in Australia in order optimize energy mix balancing.
Vestas has received funding from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) to develop a weather forecasting system that can provide precise power generation prognoses for wind farms, Vestas informs in a press statement.
