Nordex lands order from Ukraine

The German manufacturer will be supplying yet another shipment of big wind turbines to a project in a conflict-stricken Ukrainian province near Crimea. Development is supported by a Danish fund.

German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has landed an order for the second stage of Ukrainian wind farm Syvash. After receiving a 132.6 MW order for the facility in February, another 113.1 MW order entailing 29 units of the model N131/3900 is now placed for the project. Syvash will have a combined capacity of 245.7 MW and is set to enter operation next year, Nordex informs in a statement.
