Vestas wins giant order
The wind turbine manufacturer has received a massive order for roughly 200 units for a project in the US.
This is the sort of thing that only happens rarely. An announcement of such a magnitude has until recently been the exclusive domain of offshore wind farms. However, just as both a 442 MW order from Xcel Energy and a 424 MW contract from Zumia Energia for Mexican project Reynosa III entered Vestas' books last year, the company can now add a massive sale to 2019's accounts.
