Vestas maintains exceptionally high market share

The global order intake has never accelerated so quickly as in 2019, show new figures from WoodMac. There are large geographical differences, however.

China, South and North America pulled the global order intake up to hitherto unseen heights in the first quarter. With 13.69 GW, the global order intake was 7 percent – corresponding to 875 MW – higher than the same quarter last year, which has thus until now held the record for the largest intake in a first quarter, shows new figures from Wood Mackenzie.
