Ørsted gets new partner for German offshore wind farm

A quarter of German offshore wind farm Gode Wind 1 has been sold to a British investment company.

The circle of owners of German Gode Wind 1 now includes a third member. British investment company The Renewables Infrastructure Group (TRIG) has purchased 25 percent of the offshore wind farm totaling 330 MW from Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP). Ørsted developed the wind farm, manages daily operations, and continues to own the remaining half of the wind farm, which has been spinning at full speed since February 2017.
