Democrats in the House of Representatives plan to present a legislative package containing an extension of the PTC scheme. However, a decision has yet to be made.

A proposal for a wide-ranging legislative package in the US planned for presentation by Democrats in the House of Representatives may contain an extension of the US production tax credit (PTC) scheme for investments in wind farms, among other endeavors, which is otherwise being phased out.
