Vestas enters zero-subsidy project in Italy

With an order for a small extension project, the wind turbine manufacturer announces yet another market for zero-subsidy onshore wind.

Vestas has received an order for 18 MW in a deal with Veronagest-owned project developer VRG Wind 060, entailing six V126-3.45 MW wind turbines that will be delivered in load-optimized versions – the company's coinage for machines customized to operate at a lower effect – in this case, 3 MW, Vestas writes in a press statement.
