MHI Vestas awards major order to ABB
The industry conglomerate will deliver 100 transformers to the 950 MW Moray East project.
ABB has received its hitherto largest order for its 66kV transformers for an offshore wind farm. MHI Vestas has placed an order for 100 of the industry conglomerate's Windstar transformers, incorporated in the wind turbines, for project Moray East in the UK, which is to be established with 9.5 MW wind turbines, announces ABB.
