Siemens Gamesa signs contract in Brazil

The manufacturer gets a new customer on the South American market with a bank-certified wind turbine. The plan is for the cooperation to expand further than the initial nearly 100 MW.

With an order for 94 MW, Siemens Gamesa has secured a new customer in Brazil. Investment firm Brennand Investimentos has ordered 27 SG 3.4-132 wind turbines for wind farms Arizona and Honorato in the state of Bahia. The wind turbines are slated for delivery starting mid-2020, the manufacturer states.
