Senvion spins off Indian subsidiary

In the midst of trying to locate a buyer, the insolvent wind turbine manufacturer severs its Indian subsidiary into an independent company. The company's CEO says it is otherwise trying to sell Senvion intact.

German wind OEM Senvion is spinning off its Indian subsidiary into an "independent standalone operational business unit". This move will allow Senvion India to operate unencumbered by its bankrupt parent company and to enter new wind turbine supply and service contracts, Senvion informs in a press statement.
