Vestas-equipped Saudi facility to generate world's cheapest power

Saudi Arabia praises its first wind farm for achieving an electricity price of just under USD 0.02 per kWh.

Saudi Arabian wind farm Dumat Al Jandal will generate the world's cheapest power, unveil the kingdom's authorities after the 415 MW project removed 6.5 percent from the previously announced levelized cost of energy (LCoE) of USD 0.0213 per kWh. The price throughout the facility's lifecycle will thereby be USD 0.0199 per kWh.
