Nordex' deficit grows

Despite a growing H1 deficit, the German wind turbine manufacturer maintains its full-year guidance and raises its investment budget by one third.

Nordex must be grinding teeth at the moment while hoping for better times in the second half of the year. Six months into 2019, the German wind OEM has booked a net deficit of EUR 55.4 million, around one third more than the same period last year. This comes despite a 3.5 percent boost in sales, which landed at EUR 991 million.
