Vestas eases up on Danish firing round

The number of fired personnel has been reduced from 90 to 48. A total of 66 workers are longer employed at Vestas' Ringkøbing factory in Northwestern Denmark.

In late August, the Danish wind turbine maker announced its plan to fire 90 employees at its factory in Ringkøbing in Northwestern Denmark. The firing round is now finished, and the result was less severe than first anticipated, reports local daily Dagbladet Ringkøbing-Skjern.
