Ørsted awards contract in Taiwan

Dutch firm gets order for cable installation at Ørsted's first two offshore wind farms in Taiwan.

Another contract is signed regarding Ørsted's Taiwanese offshore wind projects Greater Changhua 1 & 2a. Dutch installation firm Van Oord has been hired to handle cable installation at the two wind farms, which will hold a combined capacity of 900 MW once they, according to plan, enter operation in 2022, Van Oord announces.
