GE gets its largest battery order in the US

The US-based company adds just over one fourth to its portfolio, delivering a storage system to California.

Historically, California's power grid has been challenged numerous times. A new battery system will contribute to correcting this matter a bit. US-based storage company Convergent Energy + Power has thus ordered a battery storage system from GE Renewable Energy for three projects totaling a capacity of 100 MWh, GE announces.
