Approval of Ørsted's Hornsea 3 postponed

The UK's BEIS has postponed its planning approval for a 2.4GW offshore wind project by half a year, while further investigations are conducted into consequences for wildlife.

Wednesday, an answer was due for Ørsted's planning application for British offshore wind farm Hornsea 3 of 2.4 GW. This decision, meanwhile, has now been postponed and is now due on March 31 next year, the UK's Department for Business Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) informs.
