DNV GL certifies Siemens Gamesa's wind turbine

Siemens Gamesa's latest 8MW wind turbine complies with international standard requirements and thereby wins the classification bureau's certification.

Siemens Gamesa's wind turbine model SG 8.0-167 DD has won its type certification, and the manufacturer thereby gets a green light to send the unit to market.
