Fortum-Rusnano sets course for next Vestas order

The Finnish-Russian consortium contracted to develop around 2 GW of wind capacity in Russia has entered a deal with a regional government near the Kazakh border.

Wind turbines will soon be heading to Russian province Orenburg Oblast, located in Southwestern Russia near the border to Kazakhstan. The regional government has entered a non-binding agreement in the Finnish-Russian consortium to install up to 200 MW during the period 2021-'23, Fortum informs in a statement.
