Statkraft continues efforts in solar

The utility makes a major purchase in Ireland and signs a PPA on a zero-subsidy farm in Spain with a German partner.

Norwegian state-owned utility Statkraft continues its efforts in solar energy on several fronts. The company's Irish subsidiary acquires projects totaling a capacity of 320 MW in Ireland, while the utility secures freedom from subsidy for a 50MW farm in Spain, the company informs in two statements.
