GE bags the West's largest order in China

The US-based OEM has signed an order encompassing 286 turbines for a Chinese wind farm.

General Electric breaks into the Chinese market in an unprecedented way. The US-based manufacturer has received an order to deliver turbines for a wind farm as large as 715 MW in the Henan province in the central part of the country. The order is not only the largest one received by GE from Asia, but the largest one ever for a non-Chinese manufacturer on the world's biggest market.
