GE announces new US wind farm development

The US-based wind OEM announces an order for 350 MW in its home country.

Attentive readers might have noticed last week on Innergex' website that GE Renewable Energy secured a supply contract for wind farm Foard City – or perhaps read as much in the developer's press statement from September, when the farm's 350.3 MW entered operation; or when GE itself during late summer called for technicians to work on the Texan wind farm. That is, if one hadn't spotted that GE won a wind turbine order for around 140 turbines when Electric Transmission Texas sought approval to interconnect with Foard City.
