MHI Vestas confirms Japanese interest

The offshore wind OEM utilizes its partly Japanese origins on the new market, where its first conditional order has now been confirmed.

The fact that MHI Vestas was nominated as preferred supplier for Japanese offshore wind project Hibikinada doesn't come as a shock. The consortium behind the 220MW project announced as much two and a half weeks ago. But now the wind turbine manufacturer confirms that its V174-9.5 model has been chosen for the project.
