Vestas loses veteran COO
The Danish wind OEM's COO of many years will retire from Jan. 1 without the company having found a replacement. The job will initially be managed in-house.
As of Jan. 1, Vestas will lose Chief Operating Officer Jean-Marc Lechêne, who has been with the company for many years. The 61-year French national, who arrived at the turbine maker in the summer of 2012, intends to retire after New Year's.
