New price plummet in undersubscribed Danish RE tender

Tariffs, the number of bidders as well as allocated capacity declined in Denmark's technology-neutral RE tender, landing at an average price premium of EUR 0.0015 per kWh. The country's energy minister considers rolling back the dial on future tenders.

Renewable energy has certainly become cheaper in Denmark. That's the clear result of the country's second technology-neutral tender, of which EnergyWatch was informed late Thursday evening. The average price fell by DKK 0.0154 (EUR 0.0015) per kWh against DKK 0.0227 per kWh atop power prices from last year's tender.
