Vestas takes over Chilean Senvion contracts

The Danish wind OEM secures a nice bouquet of its insolvent German counterpart's funeral flowers with an order début from an Irish project developer.

Vestas has received a 185 MW order in Chile from Irish project developer Mainstream Renewable Power, which alloted the turbine maker an order for the Cerro Tigre project, consisting of 44 modified V117-4.2 MW units. Moreover, the deal entails a 20-year service contract of the type AOM 5000, Vestas informs in a statement.
