Siemens Gamesa expects most 5.X platform sales in +6 MW optimized version
Northern European markets are well suited for selling 6.6 MW onshore wind turbines, says Siemens Gamesa's onshore CEO.
The Swedish wind market is undergoing a momentous development. In the present quarter alone, the Swedish wind sector expects to add 1.3 GW to the country's existing 8 MW. Meanwhile, beyond the combined volume of roughly 4.5 GW under development, projects totaling approximately 12 GW have either received permits or are in the process of submitting applications.
