Vestas develops "intertidal project" in Vietnam

The Danish OEM will supply onshore wind turbines for a project in Vietnam, where both the facility's design and tariff scheme are more reminiscent of offshore wind.

Vestas has received an order for 13 wind turbines of the type V150-4.2 MW for Vietnam's Hai Long 1 project, with a combined capacity of 50 MW, as the machines will be delivered in customized configurations rated at 3.8 and 4.0 MW, Vestas informs in a statement.
