Statkraft establishes first zero-subsidy projects in UK

Both wind farms are expected to be completed in 2021 and have already been sold for GBP 104 million. We are well on the way to 600 MW by 2025, says Statkraft.

State-owned Norwegian energy company Statkraft has demonstrated several times in 2019 that it sees the UK has a significant growth area for onshore wind power. For example, they opened a Scottish office in the fall and declared an ambition to install 600 MW of renewable energy in the region by 2025.
