Vestas sues employee for major theft

Over a period of ten years, a site manager has allegedly used fake companies to defraud the wind OEM of USD 600,000.

A now former Vestas employee in Texas has been sued by the wind turbine manufacturer for stealing thousands of dollars. Over a ten-year period, the site manager allegedly used his company credit card to steal USD 600,000 in smaller doses from his employer, which has now prompted Vestas to file a lawsuit at the court in San Angelo, according to local news outlet San Angelo Live.
