Norway's electricity import at nine-year high

Too little snow in the Norwegian fells last winter sent the country's power import surging to a record high this past year.

Norway hasn't imported as much electricity as in this past year since 2010. The main reason is less snow in the fells since the winter, which means Norwegian hydropower plants have generated less electricity.
