Ørsted and CIP send big investments to Taiwan

Taiwan's newly reelected political leadership approves investments in coming offshore wind farms.

Capital is being transferred from Ørsted and Copenhagen Infrastructure Parters to their respective offshore wind projects in Taiwan. At a meeting Tuesday, a subcommittee under Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), which investigates Chinese and other foreign ventures in Taiwan, approved the Danish developers' investments totaling NTD 25.6 billion (EUR 770 million), the ministry's investment subcommittee (MOEAIC) informs in a statement.
