Ground quakes under Vestas' African prestige project

The allotment of land hosting the Lake Turkana project was illegally decided, rules a Kenyan court, demanding restitution and rectification but rejects motions to do away with, annul, dissolve, withdraw, suspend, roll back, or otherwise suppress the development.

One of Africa's largest wind farms has been developed illegally, rules a court in Kenya, which finds that the Lake Turkana wind farm site was allocated on dubious legal grounds, writes media Danwatch, which also published the court decision, dated Oct. 19 this year.
