European Energy makes further purchase into PtX value chain

With the acquisition of a majority stake in Ammongas, which provides solutions for extracting CO2 from biogas facilities, European Energy will expand strategy to make PtX from cradle to reincarnation. A great company, states CEO.

It’s been a while since European Energy exclusively focused on setting up solar and wind farms. In the last year especially, things have been moving fast when it comes to exceeding past bounds.

In November, the project developer acquired full ownership of Reintegrate, which produces e-methanol. The month after, it invested in Soft & Teknik, which is behind huge heating pump projects. In January, the company entered a joint venture with Maigaard & Molbech to acquire biogas producer Vinkel Bioenergy.
