One of the wind power industry’s oft-mentioned problems concerns quantity – forming a hitch that applies both to items of the smallest scale, for instance the ongoing shortage of microchips, as well as the largest of matters, such as the manufacturer’s meager order intake of recent years. In 2022, the turbine maker took in supply contracts totaling a mere 11.2GW.
