NKT surprised by brightened prospects

Stronger balance and flexibility are needed to handle the growth that’s showing signs of exceeding NKT’s own forecast released six months ago, says CEO Alexander Kara in a comment on a potential share issuance.

Last September, NKT organized its first capital markets day in five years. A cynical take on this would be to attribute the long break to a lack of any positive news worth reporting during this interval. Although at the event last fall, NKT Chief Executive Alexander Kara noted that the cable market was in for a tripling or quadrupling towards 2030.
