CIP to install 2GW floating offshore wind in Italy

In collaboration with two partners, the Danish product developer aims to build three floating offshore wind farms between Rome and Sardinia.

CIP’s ambitions in Italy continue to grow. After having been involved in the installation of a single floating offshore wind farm in 2020, two new 1GW projects were added last year, just as the joint venture Green IT in partnership with Eni company Plenitude and CDP Equity was established. And Wednesday, three new projects with a 2GW capacity have been announced.
