Lacklustre floating offshore wind subsidies could delay Utsira Nord

The Norwegian oil and energy minister initially said the Utsira Nord timeline would not be impeded by lacking subsidy flows. Now, the sentiment has changed.

When the Norwegian government announced the first-ever offshore wind sites on Norwegian continental shelf on March 29, it said that one of the awarded projects on floating offshore wind site Utsira Nord would not be granted state aid.
