Only slightly more than one month ago, the Australian company Facade Access Group with 700 employees worldwide was absorbed by another player in the elevator industry, Alimak Group, which was not that much bigger itself.
The Australian firm makes personnel elevators for some of the world's tallest buildings, but the new Swedish owner wants to go even further. Monday, it was announced that the Alimak Group will also snatch up Danish company Avanti Windsystems, which produces elevators for the world's tallest wind turbines.
