Gamesa wins big Mexican order with new turbine model

Gamesa has received a debut order for the manufacturer's new 3.3 MW turbine platform with a large order in Mexico for 198 MW.

Spanish turbine producer Gamesa announced the order Wednesday. The company is currently being taken over by German company Siemens.

The contract is for 57 turbines, model G132-3.465 MW. These are developed on the 3.3 platform which Gamesa presented one year ago.
